Made in Peru from 100% Peruvian Pima cotton (Gossypium barbadense).

Peruvian Pima is an extra-long staple cotton: its fibers exceed 34 millimetres in length, against 22 to 28 millimetres for conventional Upland cotton. Longer fibers need fewer twists to spin into yarn and leave fewer fiber ends exposed at the fabric surface. That is the mechanical reason the fabric feels smooth, and stays smooth through repeated wear.

Peruvian Pima grows in the northern coastal valleys of Peru, where cotton has been cultivated for thousands of years. It accounts for a small fraction of world cotton production.

Care

Machine wash cold with similar colors. Tumble dry low or hang dry. Do not bleach. Cool iron if needed.

Cotton shrinks most in its first wash, and most of that shrinkage comes from heat rather than water. Washing cold and drying low is what preserves the fit you bought.

Is this meant to be worn untucked?

Yes. The extended body and straight hem are cut for it. Tucking a longline tee gathers fabric at the waistband, which is not what the pattern is for.
